The manager of the Los Blancos expressed his happiness after the end of the match, stating that Real Madrid were able to overcome a tough opponent.

"The first half was difficult and the second was much better. I'm really happy for [my players] because these games aren't easy. We deserved the win with the second half display,” Zidane told press after the match, according to the MARCA.

Moreover, the Frenchman commented on the return of Real Madrid’s winger Eden Hazard, who didn’t take part in the team’s victory.

While their rivals, Atletico Madrid are in first place with same number of points but still have two more games to play.
