(MENA) – Minister of Youth and Sports Dr Ashraf Sobhi discussed during a meeting Thursday with a number of sport officials preparations for the 2021 International Handball Federation (IHF) Men’s World Championship.
 
The meeting comes in light of the periodic follow-up of the sports minister to ensure that all necessary measures are taken in preparation for Egypt’s hosting of the handball contest.
 
Taking part in the meeting were IHF President Hassan Moustafa, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 2021 IHF Men’s World Championship Hesham Nasr, Tournament Director Hussein Labib, in addition to a number of chairpersons of various sub-committees.
 
The conferees reviewed arrangements related to hosting all 32 participating teams and accompanying delegations, in addition to all precautionary measures to be taken to confront coronavirus throughout the tournament.
 
The youth and sports minister noted that periodic meetings are held with the organizing committee to consider all matters in connection with the tournament; either at the logistical or administrative levels
