CAIRO-4 December 2020: Liverpool assistant coach Pep Lijnders explained the secret behind the magnificent performance of Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah.
Lijnders praised Salah, saying"He is a gifted finisher, his imagination and intuition in these moments are brilliant,"
Since his arrival to Liverpool from AS Roma in 2017, the Egyptian winger has been senesatioal for the Reds, having led them to win UEFA Champions League title in 2019 and English Premier League in 2020.
Liverpool assistant coach added “The way he can keep the ball in the hardest situations and find a way to come out and score is what identifies him. Many players have this, but not many have this consistently. Then you are part of the world's best. It's all about the mentality to 'never give less.”
Salah also bagged many individual awards while playing for the Reds, including the Premier League Golden Boot twice in 2018 and 2019.
In 2018, Salah was also named the third best player in the award behind Real Madrid’s Luka Modric and Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo.
