El Wensh scored the goal in the second half after a wonderful cross from Mohamed Elneny.

Egyptian fans were not happy with the performance but the national team manager, Hossam El Badry, believes that getting the three points more important and he promised the fans that the performance will improve.

“This victory represents a great step in our way towards the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. We needed the victory in this difficult stage and I am satisfied with the team’s performance in the match.” Egypt national team manager Hossam El Badry said after the game.
