CAIRO-14 October 2020: Al Ahly's Head of Medical Staff, Dr Khalid Mahmoud, announced on Thursday that the team goalkeeper Mohamed El Shenawy and the team defender Ayman Ashraf are fit for the game against Wydad Casablanca.

El Shenawy was substituted in the game against Arab Contractors in the league as he injured his adductor muscle and he missed the last two games in the league against Enppi and Pyramids.

Ashraf left Enppi game injured and missed the goalless draw against Pyramids.

The two players travelled with the team to Morocco as the Red Devils prepare for the game against Wydad in the CAF Champions League semi-final first leg.

On the other hand, Ali Maaloul and Geraldo, who missed the Red Devils last games in the league due to international duty, joined the team delegation in Morocco.

Al Ahly has won a record 8 CAF Champions League titles but they failed to win the title since 2013.
