3x3 World Cup for women U18 starts on Wednesday

CAIRO – 28 June 2017: 3x3 basketball World Cup U18 begins in Chengdu, China, from June 28 to July 3 with the participation of the Egyptian national team.

The tournament includes 20 countries divided into 4 groups and each group consists of 5 countries, the first and second of each group qualifies to the quarterfinals, Egypt is in the fourth group, which also includes Spain, France, Singapore and Kazakhstan.
Egypt will face in its first match Kazakhstan on Thursday at 7 a.m. Cairo local time and will face Singapore at 8 a.m., according to Super Kora.

The Egyptian team consists of four players: Raneem el-Barqi and Batool Adel from Al-Ahly, Tamara Shash and Maram Mokhtar from Shooting Club, the team is led by Lubna Farouk the head coach.

On the side of the China World Cup individual skills competition will be held, Egypt will be represented by Barqi and Shash in the 3 points shooting competition.
