CAIRO-10 September 2020: AC Milan announced on Wednesday that the club has reached an agreement with Brescia to sign their promising talent, Sandro Tonali, on loan with an option to make the move permanent.

The midfielder fulfilled his childhood dream as he is a die-hard AC Milan fan since he was a kid.

Tonalli received many offers from big European superpowers like Barcelona, Manchester United and Inter Milan but he rejected all these offers to join AC Milan.

“He is one of the most promising young talents in international football. Sandro has a love for the club and an understanding of its values that will add to what we want to build together," Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis said on Wednesday.

Tonali started playing football with Lombardia Uno, an AC Milan academy, before moving to Piacenza and then, aged 12, to Brescia, where he made quick progress through the youth teams and joined the first team, aged 17.

“We are excited to welcome Sandro to the Rossoneri family. As a talented, young midfielder he will not only embrace the values of AC Milan but also make a significant contribution to the future success of the Club." AC Milan's Technical Area Director, Paolo Maldini, said.
