CAIRO – 28 June 2017: Portugal and Chile will go head to head on June 28 in the semi-finals of the Confederations Cup, held in Russia June 17 to July 2.
The champions of the Euro 2016, Portugal will enter the match after coming first in Group A with the lead of their manager Fernando Santos. Portuguese captain Cristiano Ronaldo will be looking to continue his excellent run of scoring goals being the number one goal scorer in the history of the Portuguese National team.
Portugal will be affected by missing their two defenders. Real Madrid’s center back Pepe will not play for being suspended. While Raphael Guerreiro the Portuguese left back will most likely not play because of an injury. Chile’s all time goal scorer Alexis Sanchez will be leading the team on the pitch along with Bayern Munich’s central midfielder Arturo Vidal.
