Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang lifts the trophy, Reuters

CAIRO-2 August 2020: Arsenal captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, scored two goals to lead his team to defeat city rivals Chelsea 2-1 in FA Cup final on Saturday night at Wembley stadium. 
 
Arsenal won the title for for a record 14th time and secured their spot at Europa League next season.
 
After only 7 months of becoming a manager for the first time in his career, Mikel Arteta led his team to the podium.
 
"I'm really proud of what we've achieved as I know the difficulties and everything we've been through." Arteta said after the game. 
 
The manager praised the team's hero Aubameyang after his two goals granted the Gunners the title, saying "Big games require big moments from big players... he delivered that in the semi-final and he's done it again in the final." 
 
Arsenal manager aim to convince the team captain to renew his contract with the club as Arteta plans to build the team around him. 
 
He added "We're so proud to have a player like him in our squad. The club respect him and admire him. The players are all behind him and we know the players that we have and we have to value him."
