CAIRO_10 July 2020: Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold revealed that his team wants to end the season in style and break the Premier League points record.

"It is historic and probably something people haven’t seen before, but it just shows how good we’ve been over the course of the season and how consistent we’ve been." Arnold told the club official website.

Liverpool have 92 points to their name at present, with four games left to take in and they have the chance to break Man City's 100-point record by gaining 9 points from the remaining four games.

The defender added "So it’s about our mentality now in the last four games and making sure we go into them with the right mentality knowing that next season is going to be tough for us.”

Liverpool defeated Brighton and Hove Albion 3_1 on Wednesday night to bounce back after a humiliating 4_0 defeat to the second-placed Manchester City.

Liverpool have won 30 of their 34 Premier League games this season. This is the fastest any side has ever reached 30 wins in a season in the history of the English Football League.
