CAIRO_21 May 2020: Egypt international and Al Ahly winger, Ramadan Sobhy, admits that winning 2019 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations at home last summer is his greatest moment in football.

"Winning the title at home is the most memorable moment in my career. I was so happy that we brought happiness to the people." Sobhy said on Wednesday.

The winger, who was not called for 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, led the Olympic team to win the title and secure a spot at Tokyo Olympic Games.

Sobhy played a massive role in the young Pharaohs' run and he scored Egypt's winning goal at the final against Ivory Coast.

Sobhy added "It was great to score the winning goal. Watching the goal on TV always brings back great memories."

Sobhy, who won the tournament's best player award, will lead the U-23 Egyptian team in the Olympic Games in Tokyo next year as the event was postponed amid coronavirus pandemic.
