CAIRO – 24 June 2017: :Mohamed Salah, 25 years old, returned to Premier League after signing a five year contract with Liverpool. Salah had a short spell with Chelsea in 2015 and he has now returned to England to prove himself in the best league in the world.

Many Egyptian players have played in the Premier League, we will talk about the most memorable Egyptian stories in the history of the Premier League.

3 – Amr Zaki

Egyptian fans put huge expectations on Amr Zaki in his one year loan to Premier League club Wigan Athletic in 2009. Zaki did not let them down during the first half of the season when he scored 10 goals and became one of the league's top scorers.
But Zaki's unprofessional behavior made his coach at Wigan refuse to extend his loan. He later had another spell with Hull City in 2010 without any impact, to return to Egypt again with temporary success and permanent failure.
