CAIRO_8 May 2020: CAF President, Ahmad Ahmad, reveals that there is no concrete date for a restart of the continental club competitions.

"We lack visibility and we have to wait. I invite everyone to be very careful and wait for the situation to normalize. Health has priority over football." Ahmad Ahmad said.

At CAF Champions League competition, Egyptian giants Al Ahly and Zamalek reached the competition's semi-finals and they will meet Morocco's Wydad Casablanca and Raja Casablanca.

At CAF Confederation Cup, Egypt's Pyramids will face Horoya Conakry from Guinea, while RS Berkane and Hassania Agadir will meet at an all-Moroccan semi-final.

Ahmad added "The coronavirus is very different from the other epidemics that we have known in Africa. The whole world is facing a very serious health crisis."

Football competitions across Africa have been halted due to the spread of coronavirus.
