CAIRO_25 April 2020: Javier Aguirre, former Egypt national team manager and current Leganes manager, revealed that Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, is playing under immense pressure when he wears the national team jersey.

"In England, he can be happy: there are 17 other players. But he sets foot in Egypt and it's madness. He's a lovely lad, delightful; the difficulty is everything that goes around him, the pressure. He has to be careful about the tiniest thing." Aguirre told ESPN.

Aguirre coached the national team in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations at home and he was sacked as Egypt were knocked out of the tournament after losing 1_0 to South Africa in the second round.

Aguirre continued "It would surprise you what a good lad he is, how noble: he's the first to the team talks, the first in the gyms, the most serious."

Salah is considered by many as the best player in the history of Egyptian football as he achieved many successes with his club, Liverpool, at the highest level of football.

Aguirre continued "He's so pure, so innocent too; he doesn't have that touch of picaresque that Argentinians or Uruguayans have. He's transparent, honest, and straight."
