Ismaily player in quarantine after showing coronavirus symptoms

CAIRO-27 March 2020: Ismaily defender, Mohamed Magdy, to stay in Ismailia quarantine hospital until his test results come back, according to the club's director of Sports, Sabry El Meniawy.

"Magdy felt sick as he suffered from high fever and he was admitted to the hospital until his test results come back." El Meniawy told press on Friday.

Magdy is a youth product of Al Masry and he played 35 games for the club. His amazing performance caught the eye of Cairo giants, Zamalek.

Magdy spent two years inside the white castle but failed to book a starting position during his two years in Cairo and decided to return back to the Canal but this time for Ismailia to wear the famous yellow jersey of the local giants.

Magdy traveled with his team to Morocco to face their giants, Raja Casablanca, but the game was postponed amid the spread of coronavirus.
