CAIRO-21 March 2020: PSG Spanish midfielder, Ander Herrera, has no intention to return to Athletic Bilbao as he wants to finish his career at his childhood club, Real Zaragoza.

"I have  been hugely lucky to have been able to play for Athletic and enjoy their philosophy, but my aim is to return to Zaragoza, the club that I've supported since I was young." The midfielder said according to Marca.

Herrera started his career at Real Zaragoza, where his father played as a professional footballer for six years between 1982 and 1988.

Herrera is a Zaragoza academy product and got promoted through the club youth rankings till he joined the first team at 20.

The Spaniard left the club in 2011 to join Athletic Bilbao where he played for three years before going abroad to represent Manchester United in England and Paris Saint Germain in France.

Herrera added "When I have worn the shirt of Athletic, Manchester United or PSG, I've always tried to represent them and defend them as if I was their biggest fan, but my team is Zaragoza."
