CAIRO – 5 March 2020: Former Manchester United and current Derby County striker, Wayne Rooney, will face his former teammates at Manchester United on Thursday night at Pride Park Stadium.

The two teams are challenging each other for the remaining spot at FA Cup Quarter-finals.

“For us as a team it is a great challenge for us to come up against Manchester United, to see if we can beat them. It is a challenge, but it is something we are all looking forward to." Rooney said ahead of the game.

The English striker lifted the FA Cup title in 2016 when he was playing for the Reds.

The draw for the Emirates FA Cup quarter finals, held on Wednesday night, resulted in a tough trip for Frank Lampard and his boys to Leicester while the title holders, Manchester City, will visit Newcastle to face the local giants.

On the other hand, Arsenal, the most successful club in the competition with 13 titles, will face Sheffield United while Norwich City will face the winner between Manchester United and Derby County.
