Egyptian National Team in talks with West Brom over Hegazi’s injury

The technical staff of the Egyptian National team contacted representatives from West Bromwich Albion in order to have the latest updates of Ahmed Hegazi’s injury.

The Egyptian International defender and West Bromwich Albion player Hegazi pulled up an injury on February 29th during the 43rd minute of West Bromwich’s match against Wigan in the 36th fixture of the Championship.

Following the match the technical staff of the Egyptian National team were informed by representatives from the English club that Hegazi will undergo an X-ray on his foot tonight.

The Egyptian International is on track to return to the English Premier League next season with his club currently sitting in first place of the Championship .

Additionally, the 29 year old defender [Hegazi] is one of Egypt’s crucial players for the Egyptian National team in the qualifications for the African Cup of Nations.

It is important to note that the Egyptian National team will face Togo on the 26th and the 29th of March in the qualifications of the African Cup of Nations.
