DUBAI - 22 February 2020: No.1 seed Simona Halep has won her second Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships title, after beating 20 –year- old Kazakh Elena Rybakina in Saturday's final.
Despite of losing the first set (3-6), Halep notched her 20th career title and the first of the season, as she made an impressive come back in the match, winning the 2nd set (6-3), and the 3rd set 7-6(5).
" My goal is to keep winning titles this season and focus on my game," Halep said. " I think playing against her was tough. She's young. She doesn't feel the fear. She doesn't think too much about the result. What it comes now is a bonus, in my opinion, for her. She's strong. She has a huge serve. She's tall. She has power. I think she's really good to get into the top 10 very soon." She added.
