CAIRO - 19 June 2017: The general coach of Egypt’s national football team, Osama Nabih, said the coaching staff will wait for the remaining matches in the Egyptian league and the final matches of the Egyptian cup as well as the African matches for Al Ahli, Zamalek and Samouha and the Arab Championship matches to select new elements for the Pharaohs before the Uganda match, Super Kora reported.

Egypt will meet Ugandan on August 27 and September 5 in the third and fourth round of group E’s qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Egypt is leading the group with six points after winning in the first two rounds.

The team will look for the best elements to support the Pharaohs against Uganda despite the lack of time and the importance of the match, Nabih said. He added to Super Kora that claims Egypt will keep the current formation and make no changes to the squad list are “not true,” especially as the coaching staff is always looking for new faces to represent Egypt.
