EFA puts limit on minimum number of players in 2017/18 season

CAIRO – 18 June 2017: The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) limited the number of players permitted to participate in the upcoming season of 2017-18 from 30 players to 25, confirming their rights of free movement, in a

statement

published on the EFA's official Facebook page.

The statement much elucidated that each Egyptian's league side has the right to field a maximum of three foreign players, not including goalkeepers.

In addition, the EFA said that it will conduct a new auction on granting the rights of sponsoring the EFA’s activities for the coming five years, confirming that it will announce all respective legal procedures and the exact date on Sunday.
