CAIRO – 18 June 2017: The location of the upcoming Club hosting Handball World Cup is being considered to change from Qatar to another country, stated Hassan Moustafa, the president of the International Handball Federation on Saturday to Egypt Today.

This decision has been considered after two teams who were supposed to participate apologized from going to the tournament. Al-Ahly from Egypt and Al-Noor Saudi clubs apologized from competing in the tournament because it will be held in Qatar.

The International Handball Federation will be waiting for the decision of the European Champions the German handball team Füchse Berlin on whether or not they will be participating in the tournament. If the team decides not to go then the tournament will surely remove Qatar from hosting the Club World Cup.

The Handball International Federation will be considering invitations from other countries to host the tournament if the decision to move the tournament from Qatar becomes finalized.

On the same time the Organizers of the tournament have asked the Handball Federation to replace Al-Ahly and Al-Noor from two European teams. One of those European teams could be Paris Saint-Germain the runners up of the European Handball Champions League.
