CAIRO – 18 January 2020: Liverpool fans hope that this year will be the one that will put an end to their agony during the last 30 years.

The Reds’ fans aim to win the long-awaited league title in a style and repeat Arsenal’s achievement when they won the title in 2004 unbeaten. However, Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, believes that winning the league title is the most important thing.

“We don’t think about being unbeaten until the end of the season. If we do that, it would be great, but at the end of the day we just want to win the Premier League. That’s the most important thing. Unbeaten or not, it’s not necessary – we want to win the Premier League.” Salah said ahead of the clash against Manchester United on Sunday at Anfield.

Liverpool played 21 games at the league and Manchester United venue was the only place where they dropped points this season when the first game of the season between the two giants ended with a 1-1 draw.

Salah added “It’s a game we have to win. Of course we know it’s big for the fans, for the city and for us. But at the end of the day, we play the game to win. It’s unbelievable.”

Liverpool are leading the table with 61 points.
