CAIRO – 9 January 2020: Al-Ahly face a tough test on Saturday afternoon when the Red Devils face FC Platinum of Zimbabwe at Matchweek 4 of CAF Champions League Group Stage.

Al-Ahly goalkeeper expects a tough clash against the Zimbabwean giants despite their poor run at the competition as Platinum lie at the bottom of the group with zero points.

“We will face a solid team in front of their fans. However, all the players are focused on achieving the three points as the situation in the group is so complicated.” El Shenawy told Al-Ahly official website.

After a frustrating start at the Group Stage with a 1-0 loss to Etoile Du Sahel, Al-Ahly bounced back to gain six points from two wins and they share the top of the group table with Etoile du Sahel and Sudan's Al Hilal.

El Shenawy added “We are used to play under tough conditions and I hope that we can win the three points.”

Al-Ahly achieved 10 consecutive wins, their best ever start at the league, and they are leading the Egyptian league table with 4 points clear.
