CAIRO – 30 November 2019: Zamalek manager, Milutin Sredojević known as Micho, announced the team starting line-up for the CAF Champions League clash against Mazembe in Congo.

The Serbian manager will count on players with attacking nature to attack the Congolese players and put pressure on them in front of their passionate fans.

Michu’s starting line-up for the game consists of: Mohamed Awwad, Mahmoud Alaa, Abdullah Gomaa, Mahmoud Hamdy, Hamdi Niguez, Ferjani Sassi, Hazem Imam, Ahmed Sayed Zizou, Mohamed Ounajem, Achraf Bencharki and Mostafa Mohamed.

Michu picked Hazem Imam to replace the team’s midfielder, Tarek Hamed, who misses the game for injury.

“We are a big team and we will fight for the title this year and we are capable of achieving a good result against Mazembe.” Zamalek striker, Mostafa Mohamed, said before the game.

CAF Campions League draw put Zamalek in Group A alongside Angola’s Primeiro de Agosto, ZESCO United from Zambia and Congolese giants, Mazembe.

Zamalek secured 2019 CAF Confederation Cup title last season and they will fight to clinch their 6th title at the competition and their first title since 2002.
