CAIRO – 15 June 2017: Feyenoord Rotterdam, current Dutch League winners, are opening four academies in Egypt in order to benefit from young Egyptian talents in the future, the owner of the academies in Egypt Mohamed el-Boghdady told Egypt today on Wednesday.

“We will have four academies in Egypt located at: Al Maadi Sports Center in Cairo, Hilal Aswan Sporting Club in Aswan, Burussia Club in the Tenth of Ramadan, and Sports Center in Ismailia. The academy age group is from 6-18. The reason why it is from six years old is because this is the age where a child starts to gain awareness and 18 because this is the age where players starts their professional careers,” Boghdady said.

Egypt Today will be releasing a longer interview with Boghdady about summer camps and contract offers for players of the academy.
