CAIRO – 1 November 2019: In front of the Grand Pyramid of Giza, World No.4 Nour El Sherbini celebrated her 24th birthday in style after they defeated World No.1 Raneem El Welily 3-1 at PSA World Championship Final to retain the title.

El Sherbini won the first set 11-4 but the World No.1 returned in the game to win the second set 11-9.

The World No.4 El Sherbini bounced back to win the third and fourth sets 11-5 and 11-6 to win the world title for the fourth time.

El Sherbini became the youngest squash player to win the world title four times as she won the title before in 2015, 2016 and 2018.

During Egyptian Squash Open, World No.4 Karim Abdel Gawad achieved the title after defeating World No.1 Ali Farag on Friday night at an all-Egyptian line-up final.

Abdel Gawad dominated the game from the start and secured the title after winning three straight sets 11-6, 11-8 and 11-8 respectively.

Around 110 players, 64 women and 48 men, from 22 countries participated in the competition.
