CAIRO – 14 June 2017: International footballer Mohamed Salah informed his team Roma SC he wants to leave the club; Football Italia reported on Tuesday citing Sky News Italia.

Salah’s transfer pact to Liverpool has reportedly fallen through for financial reasons, as Roma wanted as much as £40 million ($51 million) to sell him, while Liverpool wouldn’t budge over £32 million ($40.75 million).

The 25-year-old striker set a record for scoring and assisting with Roma AS for the season, scoring 19 goals and 15 assists.

Back in 2014, He had previously turned down Liverpool’s offer before playing for Chelsea where he endured a disappointing spell.
