CAIRO - 14 June 2017: There are 7 English clubs that have never been relegated in Premier League since its beginning in 1992. Those teams include Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. Moreover, there are no English clubs presently that have occupied the lower divisions. Arsenal has remained in their position relegated since division one in 1912-1913 season, according to The Guardian website.

French League has a special case with FC Paris Saint-German. They have never been relegated officially since the club split into two separated teams in 1972. one of them joined CA Montreuil and continued in the first French division under the name of Paris FC, meanwhile the other continued under the name PSG and was considered as an amateur club forcing PSG to restart in the third division. PSG came to the first division another time in 1973-1974 seasons with no return down.

Hamburg SV is the only club that has never been relegated in Germany, but it is also the only team throughout all of Europe since Bundesliga 1963. Hamburg was on his way down this season, but Nicolai Muller’s winning goal in the relegation play-off second leg against Karlsruhe saved their position.

Internazionale is also another team to never taste the humiliation of relegation.

Lastly, the Spanish never relegated their powerhouse clubs either.

Real Madrid and Barcelona remain in high positions.

Athletic Bilbao is held to the same standards as Real Madrid and Barcelona They all receive special treatment.

Zamalek and Al-Ahly are the only Egyptian teams that have never been relegated in the Egyptian premier league since its foundations in 1948, according to Big Soccer website.
