CAIRO – 24 October 2019: Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, added another goal on Wednesday night leading his team to defeat Belgium’s Genk 4-1 and achieve their second victory of the competition.

Salah reached his 18th goal with the Reds at the Prestigious European competition and he is just four goals away from being the club’s all-time goal scorer at the competition.

The club’s historic captain, Steven Gerrard, holds the record with 21 goals, including his team’s first goal in the historic comeback against AC Milan in 2005 in Istanbul.

Salah is facing a fierce competition from his two current partners at the team attacking line, Sadio Mane who scored 16 goals and Roberto Firmino who has 14 goals in his pocket.

Salah’s goals helped his team to reach back to back UEFA Champions League Finals in 2018 and 2019 and he scored the opening goal for his team in 2019 Final against Tottenham that paved the way for his team to win the title at the end after Divock Origi added the second goal minutes before the final whistle.
