CAIRO – 24 October 2019: After suffering an ankle injury prior to the International duty that forced him to miss Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United, Mohamed Salah returned on Wednesday night to his team starting line-up against Belgium’s Genk.

The Egyptian winger has had an amazing night in Belgium as he led his team to achieve their second win at the group and stays second at the group behind leaders, Napoli.

Liverpool did not need much time to open the score through the team midfielder, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who found the net after two minutes from an amazing shot.

Chamberlain added the second goal for his team at the second half from another shot which the opponent’s goalkeeper failed to deal with and just watched the ball in the back of the net.

Salah played a massive role behind his team’s third goal as he provided an assist to his teammate, Sadio Mane, that put him one against one with the opponent’s goalkeeper and the Senegalese did not find any difficulty to add the third goal.

Salah killed the game when he added the fourth goal after he dribbled two defenders and put the ball in the back of the net to make Genk goalkeeper’s suffering continue.

Genk scored their only goal at the game minutes before the final whistle through Stephen Odey to give the fans seconds of celebrations after a tough night at home.
