CAIRO –14 June 2017: Four Arab teams will play Tuesday in the eighth round of the final round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup, which will be held in Russia.

In group A, Syria will face China at 3:45 CLT in the Malaysian city of Kampong. The Syrian team seeks to win in hopes of qualifying for the next World Cup. The Iranian team was the first team to qualify from the group. Syria is in fourth place with eight points and China is in fifth place with five points. The UAE is struggling to stay competitive despite its difficulties. The away games are difficult and their next game is in Thailand at 2 p. m Tuesday. The UAE is in fourth placed in group B with nine points.

The Iraqi national team does not have enough points to qualify for the World Cup in 2018. Iraq faces Japan on Tuesday, and Japan is a strong top of group B team with 17points. Japan has already qualified as the top in group B. The match will be played in the Iranian capital Tehran at 2:25 pm.
