CAIRO, 30 September 2019:Zamalek club chairman Mortada Mansour said his team is not part of the crisis of Senegal's team, Generation foot, in the CAF Champions League match, which was scheduled on Sunday at the Borg El Arab Stadium in the second leg of the African Champions League.

CAF has sent a letter to the EFA informing that Zamalek’s match against Generation Foot is delayed from Saturday at Petrosport stadium to be played on Sunday at Borg El Arab stadium.

Generation Foot refused to travel to Borg El Arab stadium on the following day as they have been informed 24 hours before the original date.

Mortada Mansour criticized the lack of management from CAF as they sent another letter to EFA yesterday informing that they will make investigations regarding this movement.

Zamalek went to Borg El Arab stadium on Sunday at the same scheduled time, waited for more than 15 minutes as per rules, then referee decided to end the game with a 3-0 victory for Zamalek; he considered that Generation Foot withdrew from the match.

Many reports claim that the match will be re-scheduled again next week.
