CAIRO, 29 September 2019:Egyptian Squash champion Nour El-Tayeb, the fifth place in the world squash rankings, has qualified for the semi-finals of the Oracle Net Suite in San Francisco, United States of America.

Nour El-Tayeb's qualification came after the withdrawal of American rival Amanda Sobhi before the start of the game after consulting her doctor for injury.

Nour El Tayeb is set to face the French champion, Camille Serm, World’s No. 3, in the tournament semi-final which is scheduled to be held on Monday.

On the other side, El Gezira club’s player and World No. 3, Tarek Moamen, qualified to the semi-final in the same tournament.

Momen beat veteran rival Joel McCain 2-1 in a match that lasted 46 minutes, and the result came as follows: 7-11, 11-5, 11-7. Tarek Momen will face rival Miguel Rodriguez in Monday's semi-final.

San Francisco tournament is the first platinum tournament this season, which saw one tournament ahead of Oracle Net Suite, the China Open. San Francisco prizes value is expected to be $121,000 for men and for women.
