CAIRO – 5 September 2019: Liverpool announced on Wednesday the club’s squad for 2019-2020 Champions League group stage.

Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, led a star-studded squad who aims to defend their Champions League title.

Liverpool’s squad consists of:

Goalkeepers: Alisson Becker, Andy Lonergan, Adrian

Defenders
Joe Gomez, Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip, Andy Robertson, Sepp van den Berg, Virgil van Dijk

Midfielders

Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita, Adam Lallana, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Fabinho, Georginio Wijnaldum

Forwards

Liverpool youngsters Trent Alexander-Arnold, Rhian Brewster, Curtis Jones, Herbie Kane, Caoimhin Kelleher, Yasser Larouci and Adam Lewis are included in List B.

The Reds won UEFA Champions League title last season after they defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in Madrid thanks to two goals from Salah and Origi.

Liverpool have had a strong start at the Premier League and they are leading the table with 12 points from four games.

New season’s Champions League draw resulted in a balanced group for Liverpool as they were drawn with Napoli, Genk and Red Bull Salzburg.
