CAIRO, 2 September 2019:The matches of the African Championship Under-23 qualifying for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, which Egypt will host in November, have been confirmed at the Cairo Stadium, which hosts Group A matches, and El Salam Stadium, which hosts Group B.

The Olympic national team led by ShawkiGharib, perform their first training at 5:30 pm Sunday, at Cairo stadium. So that they can watch the semi-final of the Egyptian Cup between Zamalek and Ittihad of Alexandria scheduled for 8 pm.


ShawkiGhareeb, coach of Egypt's Olympic team, revealed that he set September 1 as the date for the start of the camp of the Pharaohs in preparation for the African Nations Cup under the age of 23 and qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.


ShawkiGhareeb told "Youm 7" that the camp of the young pharaohs will start on September 1 and will be accompanied by two friendly games against Saudi Olympic team on 7 and 10 September.


Egypt's Olympic team is preparing for the African Under-23 Nations, which will be hosted by Egypt and start on November 8 and qualify from the first to third to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics directly.
