CAIRO – 29 August 2019: EFL Cup draw puts UEFA Champions League winners and early league leaders, Liverpool against League One side, MK Dons at the third round of the competition.
MK Dons reached the third round after defeating Southend United on Tuesday 4-1.
Liverpool failed to win the competition since 2012 when they won the title after defeating Cardiff City on penalties.
On the other hand, Mahmoud Hassan known as Trezeguet and Ahmed Elmohamady playing for Aston Villa face Brighton and Hove Albion at the same round.
