CAIRO, 28 August 2019: Egyptian handball team faces Algeria in the African Games semi-final which is held in Morocco.

Egypt qualified for the semi-finals by beating Nigeria 27/26, while Algeria qualified by beating Guinea 33/18.

The Egyptian handball team managed to win against Morocco with a score of 32/27 in its third meeting with the conclusion of the first round.

Hani El Fakharani's handball team managed to beat Guinea in the opening match of the tournament on Wednesday with a score of 42/22, before defeating Zambia 42/23.

The list of the Egyptian team in this tournament include some elements of the youth team and adults, namely: Omar Al-Wakeel, Abdel Aziz Ehab, Shehab Abdullah, Ahmed Qassem, Saif Al-Deraa, Ahmed Rady, Mohsen Ramadan, Omar Castello, Omar Sami, Khaled Walid, Shady Mahmoud, Abdel Fattah Ali, Abdel Rahman Taha and Abdel Rahman Hamid and Saif Hani and Mohab Saeed.
