CAIRO, 13 August 2019:Argentinean coach Ramon Diaz, the former coachof Pyramids FC, and Portuguese coach, JesualdoFerreira, the former coach of Zamalek, are now out of the race for candidates to coach the Zamalek team in the coming period.

Zamalek negotiations with both managers stopped due to different reasons. Ramon Diaz refused to rule the white club after not reaching to an agreement due to financial terms. While, Ferreira preferred to continue his rest from coaching as he led the Qatari club, Al Sadd, for three years.

Zamalek club president Mortada Mansour said he is inviting all the old football stars of the White Club to be present with the club's board in a meeting next Wednesday to choose the new foreign manager.

Mortada Mansour continued in a video published by the official website of the Zamalek club, that the CVs of Six coaches will be displayed to choose the best among them and invite all the old stars of Zamalek, headed by Hassan Shehata, Hazem Imam, Ayman Younis, Reda Abdel Aal and Gamal Hamza.

Mortada Mansour said that he will announce at 12 noon next Tuesday, the name of the coach of the team and 48 hours later he will be brought to Cairo in preparation for starting his task.

Zamalek appointed their former player, Tarek Yehia, as a caretaker manager and they are searching for a new manager to lead the team at the new season after the board sacked Khaled Galal following the Egyptian league title loss to Al-Ahly.

Galal, who succeeded Swiss manager, Cristian Gross, led the team during the last stage of the season in which the team lost the title to their arch rivals, Al-Ahly.
