CAIRO, 5 August 2019: Egypt women's squash team defeated Singapore 3-0 at the start of the World Junior Women's Championship in Malaysia.

The national squash team is in a group of three teams: Switzerland, France and Singapore.

Egypt women's squash team includes: Heliopolis’ player, Hania Al Hamami, the world champion of singles competitions, Wadi Degla’s Janna Shiha and world champion, Farida Mohammed, World Championship Bronze medal winner, and Sana Ibrahim.

On the Men competitions, Mostafa Assal achieved the World Championship title for the second time in a row after defeating Mostafa El Sarty.

“I faced a lot of challenges during the tournament; it wasn’t easy to achieve the title two times a row,” Mostafa Assal said to Youm7 website.

Al Ahly’s player thanked his club which helped him a lot in achieving the titles.
