CAIRO – 1 August 2019: Al-Ahly forward Amr Gamal has been loaned out for the whole of the 2019/2020 season to SC Sfaxien.

The Egyptian striker has spent the last two seasons on loan at Bidvest Wits and HJK Helsinki respectively, only scoring 3 goals in 25 appearances for both clubs.

Despite winning the Finnish league and returning to Al-Ahly this season, he did not make a single appearance for the Cairo giants.

Although his loan is confirmed, Gamal signed a new 3-year deal for Al-Ahly before taking off for Tunisia, confirming hewill stay as their player until June 2022. Amr Gamal has made 68 appearances for Al-Ahly and has scored in 18 of them, assisting 10 in the process.
