We have the chance to write history, Guediora

Cairo – 19 July 2019: Algeria national team midfielder, Adlene Guediora, has been sensational for the Algerian national team during their campaign at 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Algeria produced a wonderful performance during the tournament and they aim to win the trophy on Friday night at Cairo Stadium.

“I have no memories about the 1990 title, I was very young. But now I have the chance to write history myself.” Guediora told press ahead of the final.

Algeria won their only title in 1990 at home after defeating Nigeria 1-0 thanks to a goal from Chérif Oudjani.

Algerian team, led by Djamel Belmadi, did not lose a game during their campaign and they only conceded two goals.

Guediora praised the team’s manager, saying “The coach knows well what he wants and what he needs from the players. The credit is to him.”

The midfielder continued “We are a united team and that's very important for Algeria. We used to have Good individuals but now we are also good as a team.”
