CAIRO – 10 June 2017: Egyptian national team manager Hector Cuper will play the team to gain three points in its match against Tunisia in the group stage of qualifying rounds for the 2019 African Cup of Nations, which will be held in Cameron.

“I will play to gain 3 points,” he said, according to a statement posted on the Egyptian Football Association’s website. “We will play with our style, which is good in my opinion, [and] we will try to improve ourselves and be organized.”

“I am sad for Trezeguet’s absence but I have many players who can play his role,” he added.

Cuper told the press he knows who will be goalkeeping in Sunday’s game. “I have three good goalkeepers and they are the best in the league, but I have to choose one of them to start tomorrow,” he said.

Egypt will face Tunisia Sunday night and the Egyptian team will try to begin the qualifications with a win over its toughest rival in the group. The game will be played in Tunisia and is scheduled to begin at midnight Cairo time.
