CAIRO – 10 June 2017: Harry Kane scored an equalizer goal in the last minute to secure a point for England in Saturday’s match against Scotland for the 2018 World Cup qualifications in Europe.

The U.K. Derby, held in Hampden Park in Scotland, had a dramatic script, especially in its last minutes.

The English team was aggressive in the first half trying to score the first goal, and had many chances from Kane, Marcos Rashford and Adam Lallana. Scotland showed quality in the second half but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored the first goal for England in the 70th minute.

The drama increased in the last eight minutes of the game after Scotland striker Leigh Griffiths scored two goals from two free kicks outside the box. The scores drove the crowd wild, but English captain Kane scored the equalizer just seconds before the final whistle.

England, after the draw, kept its position on top of the group F with 14 points while the Scottish stayed in the 4th position with 8 points.
