CAIRO - 27 June 2019: Egypt assistant coach Hani Ramzi said that the coaching staff was not satisfied with the performance of the Pharaohs at the African Cup of Nations.
Egypt national team defeat DR Congo 2_0 on Wednesday night to achieve their second victory at the competition.

“We won; but we are still not happy with the performance,” Ramzy said after the match to ON Sport.

Egypt reached six points to top group A and secure their qualification to the second round regardless of the result against Uganda at the last game at the group stage.
“There are somethings need to improve; we’re doing our best,” Ramzy added.

The team captain, Ahmed Elmohamady, opened the score after 32 minutes after Congo defenders failed to clear the ball from the dangerous area.

Egypt's second goal came seven minutes later by the team star, Mohamed Salah.
Salah received the ball from Egypt's best player at the game, Mahmoud Hassan known as Trezeguet, who dribbled three defenders from Congo before passing the ball to Salah who scored the goal.
“We’re now focusing to defeat Uganda to qualify as a leader from this group,” He concluded.
