CAIRO – 11 June 2019: Uganda national team manager, Sebastien Desabre, announces the final squad for 2019 African Cup of Nations held in Egypt between 21 June and 19 July.
Mamelodi Sundowns veteran goalkeeper, Denis Onyango, leads the squad that will appear in the tournament for the seventh time in the history.
Uganda’s best achievement at the tournament came in 1978 when they finished second after losing the final to Ghana.
Desabre’s chosen squad for the tournament consists of:
