CAIRO – 2 June 2019: Egyptian swimmer Farida Osman won the Silver medal in the 50m butterfly, during her participation in the World Cup Swimming Championships, which is currently held in the United States of America early in the morning.

Farida Othman finished second with 25.95 seconds in the final 50m butterfly.Farida was fourth in the 100m butterfly in 58.67 seconds.

The tournament is part of preparations for the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020.

Farida Hisham Osman is an Egyptian competitive swimmer who specializes in butterfly and freestyle events. An All-Africa Games gold medalist and Egyptian national champion and record-holder. Osman is the fastest female swimmer in Egypt and Africa, she is currently coached by Teri McKeever.
