CAIRO – 9 June 2017: Zamalek is about to restore Youssef Obama from Wadi Degla at the end of the current season, Filgoal website reported.

Obama is playing this season with Wadi Degla on a loan contract and the terms of the contract guarantees Zamalek’s right of restoring the player.

Zamalek decided to restore the 22 years old attacking midfielder, because of the absence of high quality local strikers these days, especially after the negotiations of Amr Marey Enppi striker with the Tunisian team Al-Najm Al-Sahely which is expected to succeed, and Zamalek’s negotiations with Ahmed Gomaa Al-Masry’s striker reached to an end.

Zamalek officials are expected to hold a meeting with Obama to sign new contracts with club from the new season, according Filgoal website.

Obama moved from Zamalek’s U23 team to the first team on July 1, 2014, loaned to Ittihad on August 5, 2015 and returned to Zamalek in the same season 2015/2016. He was loaned for the second time on August 2016 and the loan contract will end this June, Transfer Market website reported.
