CAIRO – 16 April 2019: Arsenal manager, Unai Emery, believes that his team is in a good position to finish the Premier League at top four and win a spot at UEFA Champions League next season.

“Our position in the table is very important, It is in our hands, to take the top four.” Emery said on Monday.

Arsenal defeated Watford 1-0 on Monday night thanks to a goal from their Gabonese striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who rebounded off Watford goalkeeper, Ben Foster’s clearance.

Emery added “We were working to push the goalkeeper when he wanted to play like he was playing. It's a very good action from Aubameyang.”

Watford lost their captain, Troy Deeney, after only 11 minutes as he was sent off after he threw his elbow into the side of Arsenal midfielder, Lucas Torreira’s head.

Emery commented on the incident, saying “n 90 minute happens a lot of things, and I didn't see the action, I think we can control the match better, and I think it was very important in this position with one player more, to break their lines and to attack the last third better.”

Arsenal come fourth at the table with 66 points, one point behind third placed, Tottenham Hotspur.
