CAIRO – 7 June 2017: Luciano Spalletti takes over as the new Inter Milan coach, who was the former AS Roma and Zenit St. Petersburg’s manager, he has confirmed to the Italian press.

“It's all done because we've shaken hands, I'm one of those old fashioned types who does things with a shake of the hand. I'm happy to be the new coach of Inter,” said Spalletti.

Spalletti became the 5th Inter Milan coach in a year. Mancini Permier League title winner and former Man City coach was appointed the manager of the team last summer, but then left the club before the start of the season.

Stefano Vecchi then came and took charge as the caretaker before Franck De Boer former Ajax manager took hold of the Italian club for 85 days and then left after various problems with the players.

Stefano Pioli current Fiorentina manager was then appointed as the head coach before being sacked after failing to seal a victory in 8 consecutive matches.
